32 bishops of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam (CBCV) visited the tomb of St. Peter and attended a service mass at St. Peter Basilica on March 3 beginning of the pilgrimage week at the tomb of the two Apostles and visit to the Holy See in Rome.
Presiding at the mass, Archbishop President of CBCV Nguyễn Chí Linh recalled meanings of the visit to tombs of two Apostles, called the Ad Limina, and showed deep communion with the Pope, the successor of St Peter.
Vietnamese bishops also attended a Mass on March 4 at St. Thomas church, the titular church of Cardinal Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese with, the join participation of the Vietnamese clergy congregation.
Later, the Vietnamese Bishop had a meeting with Pope Francis on March 5.
