Laos delegation tasked with religious affairs attending an exchange experience conference on religious affairs between Vietnam and Laos visited and had a meeting with the Thanh Hoa provincial Committee for Religious Affairs on October 2.

Attending the event included Head of Personnel Organization and International Relations Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Đinh Quang Tiến and Head of the provincial Religious Affairs Committee Hồ Việt Anh.
At the meeting, the Religious Affairs Committee in Thanh Hoa informed the guests about religious life and the state administration on religion in the locality over the last years.
The Laos delegation highlighted similarities in the religious life between Laos and Vietnam in general and Thanh Hoa province in particular, and had exchanges relating the emulation and recommendation movements in the field of religion, and religious land and constructions.
During the field trip to the province, the Laos delegation visited Khai Nam pagoda, Sam Son parish church, and Doc Cuoc temple.

Earlier, the Laos delegation comprising of 30 cadres from Laos front for national development and home affairs sectors attended the exchange conference on religious affairs between Vietnam and Laos held from September 25-30 in Hanoi, as part of the memorandum of understanding for 2022-2026 period between the Vietnam Government Committee for Religious Affairs and the Laos Central Front for National Development.
During the conference, the Laos delegation visited Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and Temple of Literature, the two special national relics in the capital.
