Vietnam Buddhist Sangha receives delegation from Office of International Religious Freedom – US Department of State

On October 8th, 2014, a delegation from the Office of International Religious Freedom – US Department of State led by Mrs. Katherine Lawson visited the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) at Quan Su pagoda (Hanoi city).
Welcoming the US delegation were Most Venerable Thích Gia Quang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council, Venerable Thích Thanh Điện, Deputy Secretary cum Chief of Office I of the VBS and Venerable Thích Thanh Huân, Deputy Chief of Office I of the VBS.
At the reception, Mrs. Katherine Lawson highly appreciated achievements of the VBS over the past times and thanked the VBS for its warm welcome and the opportunity for the delegation to understand more about Buddhism in Vietnam.
