Vietnam Buddhist Association in UK organizes Dharma preaching

The Vietnam Buddhist Association in UK held its first Dharma preaching on November 9th, 2014.

At the Dharma preaching, Venerable Thích Chân Tính, Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council, Deputy Director of the Central VBS Propagation Department, Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City shared Buddhist teaching and experience with about 300 Buddhists.

He also organized the ritual of taking refuge in the Tripple Jam for Buddhist devotees. In addition, a candlelight vigil was held late on the day by the Organizing Board.

During the preaching, Venerable Thích Lệ Nguyên organized a fund raising amongst the Vietnamese Buddhist communities to support the construction of a Vietnam pagoda in London, expected be built with architectural and cultural features of Vietnam.
