On August 1, Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Vasantha Senanayake led a delegation to visit Quan Su pagoda – headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) on occasion of his official visit to Vietnam.
Senior Venerable General Secratary of the VBS’s Executive Council Thích Đức Thiện welcomed the delegation.
Speaking at the visiting reception, Mr. Vasantha Senanayake expressed hope that exchanges and cooperation at regional and international forums between Vietnam and Sri Lanka will be promoted, contributing to the development of the bilateral relation and cooperation between the two countries.
