On June 27, Chairman of the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore Khaw Boon Wan led a delegation to visit Quan Su pagoda – headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) on occasion of his official visit to Vietnam.
Most Venerable Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council Thích Gia Quang welcomed the delegation.
During the reception, the two sides exchanged on Buddhism in the two countries and expressed hope that the cooperation and exchange in religions in general and Buddhism in particular would be further promoted.
