Superior General of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) Angel Fernandez Artime will visit SDB in Vietnam from February 20 to 27.
The 57-year-old Rector Major is the 10th successor of Don Bosco. He was born in Spain, ordained priest in 1987 in León city. He is used to serve as Youth Ministry Delegate, Rector of Ourense School, Member of the Council and Provincial Vicar, and the Provincial Superior of León province from 2000 to 2006.
Rector Major Angel Fernandez Artime, affectionately called “Rector Major”, is a fluent speaker of Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and English. He also has a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology and a licence in Philosophy and Pedgagy.
