The Khmer Theravada Buddhism’s subcommittee for Cultural Affairs received Indian scholar, Prof. Dr. Arun Kumar Srivastara at Candaransi pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city’s district 3 on April 2.
Attending the reception were Most Venerable Danh Lung, Standing Member of the VBS Executive Council, Head of the Theravada Buddhism’s Subcommittee for Cultural Affairs and members of the Subcommittee.
This meeting was an opportunity for the two sides exchanging on Buddhist values and Buddhist developments in both countries as well as explored ways to promote academic cooperation in the coming time.
