International seminar on influence of Confucianism in Vietnam, Korea and East Asia held in Hanoi

Over 300 scholars from Vietnam and Korea have gathered at an international seminar held in Hanoi on January 30 to discuss influences of Confucianism on Vietnam, Korea and East Asian countries.

The seminar themed “Confucian Culture – Cultural similarities in Vietnam, Korea and East Asia” was co-organized by Hanoi Home Affairs University and the Association for Studies of Humanities in East Asia from Korea.

The international event draw over 60 papers on influences of Confucianism over family and social customs, public morals, ethics of public servants, political and business culture in Vietnam, Korea and East Asia region.

 The seminar contributed to promote international friendship and exchanges, as well as  foster the understanding of cultures of Vietnam, Korea and other countries in East Asia region./.
