Mrs Khty Block and Mr. Robert representing the International Humane Society organization led a delegation to visit the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) on March 19.
Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council and Venerable Thích Đức Thiện, Secretary of the VBS Executive Counci welcomed the delegation.
At the meeting, the two sides focused their exchanges on vegetarianism and environmental protections as well as feeding of animals, with the aim to promote people’s health in communities.
Speaking at the event, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu highly valued activities of the International Humane Society organization and said the VBS would promote a close coordination with the organization in Vietnam in the coming time.
