In response to an appeal from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Buddhist dignitaries and followers in Ho Chi Minh city donated USD70,000 for helping victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal.
It’s reported that Most Venerable Thích Thiện Tánh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council cum Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city VBS Executive Committee visited Nepal on June 17 to hand over the donation.
