Hanoi city: Indian Buddhist delegation visits and attends cultural exchange meeting in Cót pagoda

On August 11th, Indian Buddhist delegation consisting of 12 members led by Venerable Minling Khen chen Gyur Me Gig Namgyal, President of Ngagyur Nyinggma Mindrolling at Dehradune,  Utta Khan Pradesh state visited and attended a cultural exchange meeting in Cót pagoda (No 188, Yen Hoa str, Cau Giay dist, Hanoi).

Attending the cultural exchange were Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of Government Committee for Religious Affairs, representatives from the Center for Preservation of Religious Culture, Venerable Thích Thanh Tùng, Abbot of Cót pagoda, and Buddhist dignitaries and followers.

At the cultural exchange meeting, the delegates and Buddhists watched arts and culture performances by the Indian Buddhist delegation. On this occasion, Venerable Thích Thanh Tùng introduced about the  cultural history of Cót pagoda and meaning of each statue in the pagoda to the Indian Buddhist delegation./.
