Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng hosted on January 28 a reception for visiting Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Vietnam Beketzhan Zhumakhanov.
At the reception
At the reception, the GCRA leader and the Kazakhstan Ambassador had exchanges on the religious life in the two countries and the conference of the World Leaders and Traditional Religions held every three years since 2003 in Kazakhstan.
Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng who attended the 6th conference held on October 10-11 in Kazakhstan highly appreciated the initiative for regularly hosting the conference and stated that the conference has contributed to enhance religious involvement for peace and sustainable development in regions and the world.
Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng also expressed hope that Vietnam and Kazakhstan would promote collaboration in the state management on religion and create favorable conditions for religions in the two countries to enhance exchanges, thus strengthening the fine cooperation between the two nations.
