Foreign religious delegations visit Tay Ninh Caodai Church

Tay Ninh Caodai Church received four delegations from Japanese Oomoto religion and Xian Tian Dao sects of Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore to visit the Church and attend Dieu Tri festival on Sept. 27 held at its Holy See.

Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Council welcomed the delegations.

At the reception, Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh shared with the guests about the history and development of Caodai religion and stated that Caodaism, with its full name as the Great Faith for the Third Universal Redemption (Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ độ), was founded in 1926 in Vietnam.

He also shared about the Tay Ninh Caodai Holy See, which was built on the total area of 100 hectares in the city of Tay Ninh.

During the visit, the foreign religious delegations visited the Saint Temple inside the Holy See and wrote in the memorial book.

Dieu Tri festival, one of most important events of Caodaism, is held annually. During the event, Caodai dignitaries and followers make typical decorations of stalls of offerings to Mother Goddess Dieu Tri.
