Vietnam Baptist Church (Grace - Southern) representatives visit Government Committee for Religious Affairs

On April 2, 2014, at the headquarter of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA), Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thảo, Director of Protestant Affairs received a delegation from the Executive Board of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Grace - Southern) led by Pastor Lê Quốc Huy, Head of the Executive Board.
On behalf of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Grace - Southern), Pastor Lê Quốc Huy thanked the GCRA for its warm welcome. On this occasion, he also thanked the GCRA and local authorities for helping the Church in pastoral activities over the past years. He briefed the hosts about the Church’s achievements, difficulties in the past years as well as plans for the future. He expressed his hope that the GCRA will continue creating favorable conditions for the Church to solve difficulties in localities in order for the church to conduct pastoral activities in accordance with the law
On behalf of the GCRA, Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thảo discussed and exchanged some comments on the Church’s activities in the coming time, especially the Draft Charter at the 2nd General Assembly (2012).
