Present at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, and local officials of the provincial-level Committee for Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the Commission for Mass Mobilization, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Public Security and Home Affairs Department of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

The four-day training covered basic contents of state policies & laws on belief & religions, new regulations relating belief & religion in the Land of the Law 2024, new religious phenomena and heresies, and understanding and handling of activities taking advantages of religion, professional skills on Buddhist, Catholic and Protestant affairs, and a field trip to several belief & religious worshipping places in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga spoke highly of practical contributions of local cadres tasked with religious affairs in implementing state policies and laws on religion. According to the GCRA official, the training aims to provide updated knowledges on the belief & religious situation and practical issues, contributing to enhance the efficiency of belief & religious affairs in the coming time.
