Most Venerable Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council Thích Thiện Nhơn led a delegation to visit the working group of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in the southern Vietnam on Feb. 9 on occasion of the upcoming Traditional Tet Festival.
Joining the visit included Most Venerables Thích Thiện Pháp, Thích Giác Toàn, Thích Thiện Tánh and Thích Thiện Tâm, Vice Chairmen of the VBS Executive Council.
On behalf of the VBS, Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn took the chance to thank the Party, State and the GCRA for their due attention extended to the Buddhist Church and expressed his hope that the GCRA would continue to create favorable conditions for the Church to meet the spiritual needs of followers.
