The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) opened on September 26 a training conference on belief & religious affairs for over 100 key cadres tasked with religious affairs in 38 provinces and cities of the Central and Southern regions.

The training taking place from September 26-30 in Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city covered key contents of the state policies and laws on religion & belief, the religious life in Vietnam, the security work in the field of belief & religion, practical issues relating Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism and Caodaism, and professional skills of the state administration on belief & religion.
During the training, participating local cadres also joint field trips for understanding religious affairs in localities and visited several religious worshipping places in Lam Dong province.
The training aims to provide local cadres with updated information on the Party and State’s policies and laws on belief & religion in order for them to better fulfill tasks of belief & religious affairs in their localities.
