The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on July 14-15 a training conference on legal regulations on practices of beliefs for over 350 participants from the management boards of belief worshiping places and practitioners of Mother Goddess worshipping.
At the training conference
The opening event taking place in Hue city saw the presence of Director of the GCRA’s Belief and Other religions Department Trần Thị Minh Thu, Head of the Division of Management on Intangible Cultural Heritage under the Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyễn Thị Thu Trang and Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Thua Thien Hue province Nguyễn Văn Lập.
During the event, Director Trần Thị Minh Thu informed the State and the Party’s guidelines and policies on belief and new religious phenomena relating to beliefs.
Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thu Trang presented the Law on Heritage Culture and other legal regulations relating to the state administration on heritage culture.
The training conference aimed to enhance awareness and responsibility of representatives, the management boards of belief worshipping places and practitioners of the Mother Goddess worshipping in practices of beliefs in accordance with the law.
