While extending traditional New Year greetings to the GCRA’s officials and staffers, Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Mạc took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support extended to religious practices of Protestant Churches in Vietnam over the past years, including the establishment of three Protestant congregations approved in Thai Nguyen provinces and two others in Yen Bai province.

During the welcoming reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà conveyed his New Year wishes to Protestant dignitaries and followers in Vietnam. He also shared with the guests contents of the Law on Belief and Religion on religious activities by foreigners in Vietnam.

Later, on the same day, Chief Executive Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà received a delegation of the Vietnam General Baptist Church (Grace Southern) led by Pastor President of the Church Lê Quốc Huy.

During the visiting reception, Pastor Lê Quốc Huy extended traditional New Year’s wishes to the GCRA’s officials and staffers. He also expressed hope that the GCRA would continue creating favorable conditions for the Church’s activities in the coming time.

Earlier, on January 12, Acting Director of the GCRA’s Department of Protestant Affairs Thiều Thị Hương welcomed a delegation of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church at GCRA’s headquarters.

During the reception, Pastor Head of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church Huỳnh Huyền Vũ extended traditional New Year’s wishes to GCRA’s leaders and staffers.
