Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee cum Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Trương Thị Mai paid a working visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on April 20.
Joining the working visit were Minister of the Home Affairs Ministry Lê Vĩnh Tân, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyễn Trọng Thừa and Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Lam.

During the working visit, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà briefed about current religious life and state management on religious affairs in the country.
He also refered to the draft law on belief and religion and specific tasks for religious affairs in 2016

During the meeting, Chairwoman Trương Thị Mai spoke highly of the GCRA’s efforts and contributions to the implementation of the State policies for respecting and guaranteeing the right to freedom of belief and religion of Vietnamese people. She also encouraged close coordination between the GCRA and the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization in the coming time.
