About 200 Protestant dignitaries, deacons and heads of congregations in Dak Nong province attended a legal workshop for practices of Protestantism held by the provincial Department of Home Affairs in collaboration with Protestant Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on April 17 .
Distinguished guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Cao Huy and Acting Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương.
The workshop covered basic contents of State’s policy and the new Law on belief and religion, as well as overview of Protestantism in Vietnam and administrative guidance for practices of Protestantism.
