Lao Cai province: Government Religious Committee organizes religious training for key officials

The Professional College for State Religious Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) began on June 23 a training course on current religious situation and state administration on religious affairs in Sa Pa district.
Attending the training course were about 200 local officials who are key leaders of provincial-level departments and district-level authorities from localities nation-wide.
Vice Chairman of the GCRA cum Principal of the Professional College Bùi Thanh Hà attended the training opening ceremony and delivered topic presentations at the training course.
The training course aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of religions in the world and Vietnam, policies and laws of the Party and State on belief, religion, state governance on religious affairs, security for religious activities, new religious phenomena and recommended solutions.
During the training course, participating officials also visited some religious establishments of Catholicism, Buddhism in Lao Cai city.
