During two days May 29 and 30, 2014, at Bong Sen hotel, Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang province, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the provincial People’s Committee held a workshop for dissemination of the law to 250 religious dignitaries representing religious organizations in Hau Giang province.
This is the first time after the re-establishment of Hau Giang province, the GCRA in collaboration with local authorities disseminated the law to dignitaries and followers. The workshop participants heard and discussed about policies and laws of the Party and State on belief, religion and law on religion-related housing and land. At the workshop, religious participants said that they will communicate the law to dignitaries, followers in their organization and people in the communities, as well as hoped that the GCRA will continue to coordinate with the local authority to disseminate the law on belief and religion to dignitaries and religious in the locality.
