With practical experiences in the state administration on belief and religion, officials from the GCRA gave comments on the framework of training programs and teaching materials relating to the State administration on religion.

For his part, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng informed that the Party and the State of Vietnam always pay attention to issues relating to belief and religion. Vietnam is a religiously diverse country with large numbers of religious followers. Religions currently have strong impacts on all aspects of the social life. However, officials tasked with religious affairs in localities is currently inadequate not only in number and but also knowledge relating to the state management on belief and religion.

Therefore, the opening of training program on State administration on religion at the USSH would provide a high quality of human resources on religious studies and state administration on religion, he stated.

In addition, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng expressed hope that the USSH would continue opening and expanding short-term courses relating the state administration on belief and religion for religious dignitaries and officials tasked with religious affairs in localities.
