Government Religious Committee reviews application of the ISO 9001 – 2008 quality management system

On March 13, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a meeting with its ISO Steering Board and ISO working group to review the application process of the ISO 9001 – 2008 quality management system.

As reported at the meeting, in 2014 the GCRA created 17 processes for reception of application dossiers and 18 processes for administrative procedures for religious affairs in compliance with the standards of the ISO 9001 – 2008 system.

In addition, the GCRA implemented the one-door administrative system at the Documentation Section with the aim to simplify bureaucratic procedures in the field of religious affairs.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice-Chairman of the GCRA cum Head of the GCRA ISO Steering Board asked the Professional Training School and the Information Center under the GCRA for their coordination in disseminating the approved set of administrative processes and procedures in the field of religious affairs according to standards of the ISO 9001:2008 to officials working on religious affairs at training classes and religious followers and organizations throughout the country through the electronic websites of the GCRA./.
