Government Religious Committee requests religious organizations to cancel large religious gatherings

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) sent on Match 27 another dispatch asking religious organizations to strengthened measures for the nCovi prevention and control,
In response to the Prime Minister’s Directive 15/CT-TTg dated Match 27, amid rapid increase of new infection cases over the past three weeks, the government religious committee asked religious organizations and heads of religious worshipping places to cancel large religious gatherings from March 28 to April 15.
The GCRA’s dispatch called for suspension of religious services and events of over 20 people until April 15.
The government religious committee also encouraged religious organizations to switch to provision of online religious services, as well as make practical contributions to national and local efforts being urgently made for the Covid-19 prevention and control in the country./.
