Government religious committee receives Vietnam United World Mission Church

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà hosted on October 8 a reception for the visiting delegation from the Vietnam United World Mission Church’s Executive Committee led by Pastor President Nguyễn Quang Đức.

At the reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà extended congratulations to the success of the Church’s 4th national congress and spoke highly of the Church’s achievements during the past term (2015-2019).

The Vice Chairman expressed hope that the Church’s executive committee would encourage followers to well conduct religious activities in accordance with the laws and promote solidarity contributing to the development of the country.

Speaking with the hosts, Pastor Nguyễn Quang Đức took the chance to thank the GCRA for support favorable conditions extended to religious practices of the Church over the past years.

The Vietnam United World Mission Church was established in Da Nang in 1956. and was recognized as a legal entity by the Vietnam State since 2007. The Church currently has 17 worshipping places with about 28,000 followers.
