Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng hosted on June 14 a reception for visiting Thailand Ambassador to Vietnam Tanee Sangrat.
Representatives of GCRA’s office and departments of International Relation and Buddhist Affairs attended the reception.
During the reception, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng and Ambassador Tanee Sangrat had exchanges on the organization of the Robe offering ceremony in Hanoi in the coming time.

Speaking with the guests, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng stated that the GCRA would create conditions for the Thai Embassy to solemnly organize this activity.
Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng also expressed hope that the Thailand Ambassador would make further contributions to the development of the bilateral relation between the two countries in general and Buddhism in particularly.
