Government religious committee presents gifts to families of wounded and fallen soldiers in Nghe An

During a working visit to Nghe An province on occasion of the 71st anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Solders’ Day (July 27), the delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs led by Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng visited on July 21 several families of wounded and fallen soldiers in the province’s Anh Son district.

During the visits, the delegation presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Bùi Thị Quy and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Đặng Thị Thỉ in the district’s Vinh Son commune.

The delegation also presented 51 gift sets to three wounded soldiers and families of policy beneficiaries living in Anh Son district’s Duc Son and Vinh Son communes.

On the same day, the GCRA delegation visited Truong Bon Historical Site in Do Luong district where 13 youth volunteers sacrificed their lives on 31 October 1968.
