Vietnam Baptist Church visits the GCRA

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Tiến Trọng received on January 26 a delegation from the Vietnam Baptist Church led by Pastor General Treasurer Phạm Xuân Hiển, ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

At the visiting reception, Pastor General Treasurer Phạm Xuân Hiển extended Tet wishes to officials and employees of the GCRA and took the chance to share with the host results of religious affairs of the Church in 2021.

Speaking with the guests, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Church through social charitable activities and the Covid-19 prevention work in localities.

On the upcoming of Lunar New Year 2022, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng extended Tet wishes of happiness, good health and success to pastors and members of the Church in the country.

* Earlier, Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo paid on January 25 a pre-Tet visit to the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hanoi.

Head of the Coordination Committee of the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hoàng Văn Tùng welcomed the GCRA delegation.

During the visit, Deputy Director Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo conveyed Tet greetings to the Church and its members nation-wide.
