Government Religious Committee official pays pre-Tet visits to Buddhist leaders in Ho Chi Minh city

Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga led a delegation on January 4 to visit Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng, Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) and key leaders of the VBS , ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2023.

In Hue Nghiem Pagoda, Thu Duc city, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga conveyed Tet greetings by leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the GCRA to Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng.

On the same day, the GCRA delegation visited and met with Most Venerable Deputy Patriarch of the Central VBS’s Discernment Council Thích Đức Nghiệp in Vinh Nghiem pagoda and Most Venerable President of the VBS’s Central Executive Council Thích Thiện Nhon in Minh Dao pagoda.
