Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức attended on March 28 the ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Divine Mother worshipping temple of the Correction–Path Caodai Church in Ben Tre city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức spoke highly of practical contributions made by Caodai followers of the Correction-Path Caodai church over the past years. The GCRA official also stated that the new Divine Goddess worshipping temple would better meet needs of religious practices by Caodai followers in the locality.

As reported, the Correction-Path Caodai church was recognized as a religious organization by the state government in 1997. The Caodai church currently has about 200 Caodai parishes, with over 700,000 followers residing in 24 provinces and cities.
