Government religious committee official attends ceremony commemorating 100th founding anniversary of Caodai religion

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức attended on April 21 a grand ceremony marking 100th founding anniversary of Caodai religion held by the Tam Thanh Vo Vi Dazzling Bright Caodai sect in Can Tho city.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in Can Tho city Lê Hùng Yên, Chairman of the municipal Religious Committee Nguyễn Thanh Kiệt, representatives from other Cadai churches, and over 1,000 Caodai followers of the Tam Thanh Vo Vi Dazzling Bright Caodai sect.
The ceremony reviewed history and development of the Caodai religion, as well as practical contributions made by Caodai predecessors, especially Rev. Ngô Minh Chiêu, the Second Founder of the Caodai religion.
