On January 29, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) had a working meeting with a delegation from the Office of the Government Steering Committee on Human Rights led by its Chief Nguyễn Thanh Sơn.
Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and representatives from the Committee Office, the International Cooperation Department, the Information Center and the Professional Training School for Religious Affairs.
During the event, the two sides discussed on building long-term cooperation programs, coordination in dissemination of the State policy for respecting and guaranteeing citizen’s right to freedom of belief and religion, and regular information exchange on the religious situation and the implementation of laws on belief and religion in Vietnam.
