Government religious committee leader sends Letter of Congratulation to Protestants on occasion of 500th Anniversary of Reformation Day

On occasion of the 500th Anniversary of Reformation Day, Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng has sent a letter of congratulation to Protestant communities in Vietnam.
The letter, dated October 25, extended congratulations to Vietnamese Protestants living in the country and abroad on the important historical event also known as 500th Anniversary of Protestantism.
In the congratulatory letter, the GCRA leader praised progressive values of Protestantism in the world in general, and in Vietnam in particular, as well as highly appreciated practical contributions by Protestants to the cause of renovating the country.
The GCRA Chairman also called on Protestants to further promote the Jesus’s teachings “Love the Lord” and “Love your neighbor as yourself”, as well as uphold the Vietnamese tradition of mutual affection and sharing, contributing to enhance unity and bring peace and prosperity in the country.
