Government Religious Committee leader receives Superior General of Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres

On March 14, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Dương Ngọc Tấn received a delegation from the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres, led by its Superior General Lee Qui Sun, at the GCRA’s headquarters.
Welcoming the delegation also included representatives of the GCRA’s Departments of Catholic Affairs and International Relation.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn shared with the guests current religious situation in Vietnam as well as the guidelines and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam on belief and religion. He also acknowledged practical contributions by the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres in Vietnam in social, charitable activities, health care and preschool education, etc.
Superior General Lee Qui Sun thanked the GCRA for its welcome and discussed with the hosts some issues relating religious activities of the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres in Vietnam.
