Government religious committee leader meets with representative committee of Islam and Tu An Hieu Nghia in An Giang

On occasion of a working trip to An Giang province, Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng visited and met with the representative committee of Islamic and Tu An Hieu Nghia (Four Debts of Gratitude) communities in the province.
At visiting receptions, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng took the chance to exchange with the hosts the law on belief and religion and its guiding degree taking effect from 2018 and stated that this new law will better ensure the human right to freedom of belief and religion.
The GCRA leader also expressed hope that the religious representative committees would continue guiding religious followers to uphold fine traditions and make practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality.
