Government religious committee leader extend Christmas greetings to Christians in Ho Chi Minh city

Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese on December 14, ahead of the Christmas 2018.
During the welcoming reception hosted by Bishop Joseph Đỗ Mạnh Hùng in charge of the Archdiocese, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng extended merry Christmas to the Bishop and Catholics in the Archdiocese. He also called on local Catholics to proactively engage in social movements in the city.

On the occasion, the GCRA official also visited and extended Christmas greetings to Cardinal Jean-Baptiste Phạm Minh Mẫn.
Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng visit Vietnam Baptist Church
On the same day, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng also visited to the Vietnam Baptist Church in Ho Chi Minh city for extending merry Christmas and happy New Year to pastors and followers of the Church. He expressed hope that Protestant dignitaries would further encourage followers to promote fine traditions for strengthen unity and boosting socio-economic development in the country.
