Government Religious Committee leader attends ceremony starting restoration of Huong Ap Pagoda in Thai Nguyen
Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Hoài Bắc attended on November 2 a groundbreaking ceremony for the restoration project of Huong Ap pagoda under Ly Nam De relic site located in Thai Nguyen province’s Pho Yen city.
As reported, the restoration project of Huong Ap pagoda includes, a temple worshipping King Lý Nam Đế, an ancestral worshipping temple, a three-entrance gate, a Mother Goddess worshipping hall, a Buddhist worshipping temple, bell tower, drum tower, lobbies, and other facilities. The total investment of the construction is about 89 billion VND.
According to the planning, the King Lý Nam Đế relic site has 54.6 hectares and the project will be completed in 2025.
