Government Religious Committee leader attend Mass for 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' pontificate
Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Hoài Bắc on March 6 attended the holy mass celebrating 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' pontificate (March 13, 2013 – March 13, 2023) held by Hanoi Archdiocese.
The event was chaired by Archbishop Marek Zalewski, the Vatican's non-resident Special Envoy to Vietnam, Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Năng, President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam cum Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese and Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên of Hanoi Archdiocese, and attended by bishops, priests and a large number of lay parishioners in the Archdiocese.

Joining the event included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Tiến Trọng, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign embassies in Hanoi city.

As reported, on occasion of the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' pontificate, dioceses of the Catholic Church of Vietnam also held similar masses to pray for Pope Francis.
