The final draft of Vietnam’s proposed law on belief and religion has been made public through the electronic websites of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs for public comments.
The public introduction of the draft law aimed to gather comments from individuals and organizations inside and outside the country on Vietnam’s first ever proposed law on belief and religion, and also to meet a requirement under Vietnam Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents 2008.
Accordingly, all comments on the draft law sent to the Department of Legislation and Inspection under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs at vupctt@btgcp.gov.vn or GCRA postal address would be welcomed and appreciated.
The draft law has been completed by the drafting board consisting of representatives from various concerning ministries and central agencies, headed by a vice chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
