A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) and the provincial government of Ninh Binh had on November 29 a meeting in the province on the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion.
The meeting saw the presence of Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tống Quang Thìn.
During the event, Director of the Home Affairs Department of Ninh Binh Đinh Công Toản delivered a brief report on the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion in the province since 2018.
The meeting also clarified practical issues including social affairs of local religious organizations, the state administration on belief-related land and construction, house-based and public practices of beliefs, transfer of religious land, the coordination between concerning departments in the state management of new religious phenomena and religious or belief places classified as cultural heritage and relics, the inspection of the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion in Ninh Binh province, settlement of complains and denunciations relating belief and religion, etc.

During the four-day inspection, the GCRA’s delegation planned to visit several localities in Ninh Binh province for meetings and exchanges with local authorities and representatives of worshipping places on the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion in the 2018-2021 period.
