The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a professional training course on belief and religious affairs for its personnel in early November.
The event saw the participation of Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga and large numbers of the GCRA’s officials and staff.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga has underlined the importance of training and capacity building for officials engaged in state management of belief and religion, describing it as a regular and key task.
The training provides practical and useful knowledge, helping participants update policies and laws on ethnic and religious affairs, as well as cultural heritage relating to belief and religion, she stressed.
During the event, representatives of the Department of Policies (the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs) and the Department of Cultural Heritage (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) delivered presentations providing updated information on religion in world, state policies and laws on ethnic and religious affairs in ethnic minority areas; and policies and laws on cultural heritage related to belief and religion.

Overview of the training course
As planned, the GCRA will organized two training courses for its officials, with a total duration of five days in 2025.
