Government Religious Committee holds seminar on draft law of belief and religion

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference on draft law on belief and religion on Feb. 6 in Ho Chi Minh city.

Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the GCRA Phạm Dũng; Vice Chairman of the GCRA cum Deputy Head of the Drafting Committee Bùi Thanh Hà and over 80 religious dignitaries in the southern provinces.

The conference aimed to gather comments and opinions from religious dignitaries and deacons on the first draft of the proposed law so as to obtain overall and objective views and propose practical changes in the new law.
