The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference with the theme “Issues related to state administration on beliefs in Vietnam”
The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and attended by representatives from the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, the Vietnam Fatherland Committee, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, researchers and scholars.
During the seminar, delegates discussed about issues including roles of beliefs in Vietnam; the impact of belief-related activities on social security and order; state administration on beliefs, guidelines and policies of the Party and State for belief-related practices over the years.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn highlighted the comprehensive understanding of beliefs and their roles in communities and Vietnam society, current situation of the state management on beliefs and its roles, contributing to ensure social security and community order in belief-related practices.
