Representatives of Catholicism in Ha Tinh province attend dissemination program

The program includes two conferences, one for representatives of Catholicism, and the other for representatives of Buddhism, other religions and worshipping places in the province, with the total of about 450 participants.

Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng also shared about the diversity of belief & religious life in Vietnam, and affirmed that the Party and State always pay due attention and create favorable condition for religious practices in order to ensure people’s right on freedom of religion and belief, and accordingly the Decree 95 was promulgated on December 29, 2023 detailing articles and measures to implement the law on belief & religion replacing the Decree 162.

The dissemination program covers key contents on the belief & religious life in Vietnam, state policies & laws on belief & religion, the Law on Belief & Religion 2016 and new provisions of the Decree 95, and the guidance for the implementation of administrative procedures in the field of belief & religion.

The dissemination program also provided opportunities for raising and discussing practical issues relating religious practices in the locality.
