The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on March 16-19 two conferences for disseminating existing laws on belief & religious for nearly 400 religious followers and representatives of belief worshipping places in Phu Tho province.

Joining the disemination’s opening ceremony included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Tiến Trọng and Chairman of the religious affairs committee in Phu Tho province Lê Công Luận.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng shared with the participants the religious & belief life in Vietnam, and affirmed that the Party and State always pay due attention to and create favorable conditions for religious practices, in order to guarantee the right to freedom of belief and religion. The GCRA official also informed the Decree 95 dated December 29, 2023 detailing articles and measures to implement the law on belief & religion replacing the Decree 162, with new and improved regulations for belief & religious practices.
The dissemination covered the brief of religious & belief life in Vietnam, and key contents of state policies and laws on belief & religion, especially new points in Decree No.95 and relating legal documents, and administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion.

During the dissemination, participants also engaged disscussion of practical issues relating religious and belief pracices in the locality.
