On April 26, a delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Acting Director of the Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương had a working meeting with Ca Mau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Diệu Hiền and representatives from the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilizations and Provincial Police welcomed the GCRA delegation.
The working meeting focused on the current Protestant life and state management on Protestant affairs in the province over the past years, including religious practices of Protestant sects in the province, registration of Protestant meeting groups under the Directive 01/2005/CT-TTg on some tasks regarding Protestantism, establishment of local churches and ordination of dignitaries.
