Government religious committee appraises project on contents of Vietnam law subject at religious training schools

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on November 26 a meeting for the final assessment of the Vietnam law subject to be taught at religious training schools.
The project was implemented by the Inspection and Legislation Department under the GCRA and overseen by Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng.
The assessment meeting of the GCRA’s project was chaired by Prof. Hoàng Thế Liên, former Deputy Minister of Justice cum former Rector of Hanoi Law University.
During the meeting, Acting Director of the Inspection and Legislation Department under the GCRA Nguyễn Thị Định briefed about results of the project.
The subject covers basic contents on the Vietnam legal system as well as specialized laws including Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Law on Belief and Religion.
At the meeting, the appraisal council highly valued contents results of the project with theoretical and practical values to the state administration on belief and religion.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Hoàng Thế Liên highly appreciated the efforts of the guiding council during the implementation of the project. He also asked the project’s guiding council to supplement comments pointed by the Appraisal Council’s members at the assessment meeting.

Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng, Head of the guiding council took the chance to thank comments of the appraisal council and asked the guiding council to early complete the subject based on feedbacks of the appraisal council.
